Doug’s energy, pride and vision for California Ultimate Turf emanates from more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He spent more than 17 years as General Manager for a major Southern California concrete producer and then spent the following 13 years successfully launching two privately-held companies – an asphalt paving company and an on-site development construction business. Through these years spanning many aspects of the industry, he saw new opportunities to improve the development and maintenance phases of construction. To address the new generation of landscaping solutions - synthetic turf - Doug founded California Ultimate Turf, leveraging techniques and relationships from his expansive and successful industry experience. Doug’s pride in his company and his genuine passion for synthetic turf’s many applications continue to be the foundation of California Ultimate Turf.

Jon Merry - General Sales Manager
A native to California, Jon is one of several highly knowledgeable and experienced California Ultimate Turf members. You’re certain to benefit from his well rounded knowledge of the synthetic turf industry and its products, having served three years with a major synthetic turf company as its California sales representative and Business Development Manager serving the entire Western United States. Add more than 20 years of business experience (starting at the ripe age of 19) in the rugged and very demanding customer driven residential real estate industry, and you have a recipe for ensuring your synthetic turf project receives the top quality customer care and satisfaction it deserves.

Gene Urdiales - Senior Estimator/Project Manager
Gene is a key team player, largely responsible for the reliability and success of our many projects. He brings to California Ultimate Turf more than 25 years of estimating and project management experience on both civil and architectural projects. Additionally, Gene has worked extensively on local and national government projects, defining him as one of the most reliable estimators and project managers in the industry.

Steven Beardsley – Account Manager
Steven brings over 30 years of business experience, 19 years of highly respected High School football & baseball officiating experience, and 4 years of sales experience in the synthetic turf industry to California Ultimate Turf. Starting as an Air Force Veteran, Steven developed his strong knowledge of electronics into a successful career working as a computer manufacturer technician, telecommunications account manager, and ultimately as an account salesman. He exceeded expectations every step of the way, with his ability to build business relationships being the keystone to his success.
His football and baseball officiating duties have also developed into a well rounded knowledge of all types of athletic field playing surfaces, especially synthetic turf, having officiated on all types of synthetic turf systems since their inception. Add this knowledge to his excellent customer service and sales experience, and California Ultimate Turf is the perfect company for Steven to serve you with all your synthetic turf athletic field needs.

Lori Cisneros - Sales Coordinator
Much of the success California Ultimate Turf has enjoyed is attributed to the energy Lori continues to bring to the team and to our clients. A veteran of the building industry, Lori has been with California Ultimate Turf since its inception. Her awareness of how different synthetic turf solutions can work for different facilities has been improving countless landscapes for California Ultimate Turf clients for years.
